The Last…

Time you danced?
Two weeks ago at the Hailey Bieber Rhode skincare UK launch at Chiltern Firehouse. My favourite DJs Hale Zero were playing and it was my first night out since having a baby. Many spicy margaritas were consumed.

Thing you bought from an actual shop?
Some swimwear for holiday for my kids (Noah, 7 and Jacob, 3) at John Lewis.

Thing you brought online?
Some Match Attax football cards for Noah on Amazon. They’re a current favourite in our household.

Person you spoke to?
My husband Ed, debriefing on our days over dinner.

Podcast you listened to?
My boss Edward Enninful on the Diary of a CEO. Hard recommend!

New brand you discovered?
M.A.B.E Apparel – as introduced by Douceur (with the quilted jacket that got away!).

Film you watched at the cinema?
Matilda the Musical. I went for the kids but think I enjoyed it more than they did. We listen to the soundtrack now most mornings.

TV series you watched at home?
Succession. Oh my word, THAT last episode. Possibly the best TV I have ever seen.

Restaurant you ate at?
Claridge’s Chef’s Table (I know..!). It was for a work event, I felt so lucky to experience it.

Takeaway you ordered?
Sushi. I only like to order things I couldn’t make myself.

Book you read?
It’s terrible but I can’t remember the last time I sat down to read a book…

Magazine you flicked through?
Vogue! Of course!

Country you visited?
France last summer for a work trip.

Town you walked around? 
This might not count but I walk around North West London most days trying to get my baby to sleep in her buggy for a nap.

Time you cried? 
When my daughter Léa was born 5 months ago.

Time you laughed until you cried? 
Most days in my sibling WhatsApp group. My brother, sister and I have a wicked and naughty sense of humour so most days there is a meme that sets us all off.

Thing you do at night before switching off the light? 
Hand cream. Currently a Sisley one that smells heavenly.

Meal you cooked? 
Ginger and chilli salmon steaks with brown rice and yuzu stir-fried kale.

Cocktail you drank?
Spicy margarita (see first question!!).

Play you saw?
Lion King with my son Noah (not sure that counts as a play, but this is my level of entertainment currently).

Thing you baked?
I’m not a baker. I so wish I was. But I’m not that gal.

Thing you burnt?
Toast on the weekend. I had to air the whole place out.

Time you said sorry?
About 5 minutes ago to my mum for forgetting to call her back.

Website you bookmarked?
The online booking system for our GP.

Song you added to a playlist?
Omg this is mortifying. Loreen – Euphoria (the 2012 winning song of Eurovision from Sweden). A bunch of my friends went to Hoopla festival on the weekend, where she played, and all their IG content from her set got that song stuck in my head. And now it’s on my current playlist. So there you go.

Person you kissed?
My baby, just when I put her down to bed about 20 mins ago.

Travelled by bus?
About a month ago, to go to an appointment on Oxford Street when there was a train strike.

Radio station you listened to?
Capital FM, it’s just what we had on in the car.

Time you swore?
10 mins ago, when messaging a friend about some outlandish behaviour of one of their colleagues. There were a lot of F-bombs.

Biscuit you ate? 
Hobnob. Love, love, love.

Item of clothing you wore two days running?
My If Only If nightie.

Thing you smelt?
Byredo Bal d’Afrique perfume.

Time you said I love you? 
Also to my baby when I put her to sleep just now.
