Barn Jackets

Time to give your trusty army jacket a break. Enter the barn jacket.

The ‘Barn Jacket’ is the current reincarnation of the trusty and much-loved army jacket ,which has reigned supreme for years now. The main distinguishing feature is the contrast collar (and sometimes cuffs) – generally in corduroy or leather. The colours can vary, but the traditional style is in the sand colour – a fresh update on the army green. The new title also apparently covers Barbour-style waxed jackets, the idea being that you can chuck it over pretty much anything, from jeans to dresses (so .
