With all the sales already in full swing it’s hard to remember when the actual Black Friday really is. Today! You’ve probably already scooped up some bargains by now (in my case, mostly Christmas gifts), but today I’m here to share my Amazon Fashion finds – all pieces/styles that I always turn to (mostly every day) and rotate in my own wardrobe – cosy jumpers, shirts, shackets, jeans, ankle boots – they’re all here. I think you might be pleasantly surprised!
I have wanted a proper fair isle cosy sweater for some time now, but hadn’t managed to find one I really liked (I love a cosy jumper that’s warm enough to wear without a jacket or coat over). Â I love the colours of this one, and I can confirm it’s super-warm. Admittedly it’s not cheap, but it is an authentic Icelandic one, and the quality is great (something you might not necessarily easily expect from Amazon). For me this is a no-brainer outfit (with jeans and boots), but I also love it with a classic denim mini. I like the contrast of the big, chunky knit with the mini, tights and heels. Perhaps at 46 I am too old to be running around in a mini skirt, but do I actually care? No I don’t!
I had also been looking for a new pair of  ‘go with everything’ ankle boots with a ‘not too high’ heel for every day. This  pair ticks all the boxes – cool, comfy, slouchy. I have already worn them so much!
A chic black velvet trouser suit that can be dressed up (with barely there sandals – mine are ancient Isabel Marant, but these are pretty great, and have a more manageable heel height too…), or down with my trusty Vans. I love wearing a trouser suit from time to time – there’s something really timeless and effortless about it that I love. You can of course, also wear the jacket (great with a t-shirt, jeans and heels) and trousers separately, but you probably don’t need me to tell you that do you? Size up in this one for a cooler fit.
If you’re in the market for a utility jacket (and as far as I’m concerned, it’s a wardrobe essential!), this is a great one. Again, size up for a more mannish fit. Other go-to favourites for me include (particularly this winter) oversizes plaid shirts/shackets (this one is SO soft!!), and denim shirts (I already have a classic blue one, so this time went for black.
If you’re looking for boots, I also road-tested these three pairs – knee-length (the heel shape is great, and I love that you can make them more of a  seventies slouchy fit too – great over skinny jeans), brogue chelsea boots, and this western style.
I’ve also got my eye on this (and this) running top and these high waisted leggings. Black Friday is also a great time to think about upgrading your running trainers (did you know that if you run regularly you should really be replacing them every six months?). I like these. And this is my sports bra of choice (thanks to all of you who recommended it on Instagram Stories).

ps: I have tried, tested and bought (and lost!!) A LOT of sunglasses over the years, but at the end of the day, I always come back to these. You can’t argue with the classics.
