I love a sale bargain – the excitement of buying something that you have had on your wish list since the beginning of the season, but your budget couldn’t stretch to at the time. And then buying it at a reduced price is always a great feeling. But you must always approach sale shopping in a smart way. Make a list of what is missing in your wardrobe, and focus on those items so that you don’t repeat-buy what you already have. This will avoid the post-shopping ‘downer’!
Shop for clothing and accessories that are timeless, and think ahead – will you revisit your purchase year after year? Can you layer that shirt under a jumper for winter? Will you wear that dress for many summers to come, and maybe to a few weddings in between? Stick to some of these basic rules and snap up some last-minute bargains!
