This is one of those frivolous posts that I’m simply posting to spread some mid-week joy. No strategy, agenda or monetisation. Just pure, unadulterated visual joy courtesy of and . I just LOVE these images so much, and while I’m mostly rotating my favourite jumper and jeans, I am definitely up for a bit of gorgeous, aspirational fashion/styling!
I honestly haven’t been this excited for an H&M collaboration since the Isabel Marant one (which I am STILL bitter about!! I was invited to the press preview, but I was going to be away on a trip for work, so couldn’t go. I didn’t manage to get a single piece. And it was SO good!! Urgh. I’m not sure I’ll ever get over it!). So put this date in your diaries right now: 11th March (8.00am to be precise). At last – something fun and frivolous to look forward to! I mean, just look at the collection – beyond dreamy. And the kids’!! Miniaturised versions of her classics – Aaron knits, smocks and frill dresses. Just gorgeous.
So to sum up, an amalgamation of a decade of design, full of Rocha’s beautiful sensibilities and signatures – “a tribute to Ireland, Hong Kong, texture, shape, tactility, history, family, intimacy and joy.”
And I love that even the ribbons, beaded bow earrings and the marabou feather trimmed ballerinas and slides are going to available to buy (not just for styling, as is often the case)!! And while I adore this styling, it probably won’t be how I would personally wear the collection, but that’s what I love most – you can deconstruct all these looks and just take elements and adapt them to your own, personal style.
