I love swimwear. I think it’s because more than any other piece, it holds the promise of summer. I can trace my obsession back to childhood, when my mum would take us to the same shop each year, to pick out a cossie for the long scorching months of summer in Australia. I still vividly remember each  of the swimmers I chose, and the thrill of picking out a new bikini or swimsuit has  never faded. While this summer is definitely going to be very different to previous years, it’s no reason not to indulge in new swimwear.  I  may not be in Italy as planned, but I am still going to make the most of my new bikini (a brand I have recently discovered and adore), or my off-the-shoulder one-piece (stylish and sustainable) – I will probably just be in Suffolk instead of Ischia.
