This post started with my obsession with bedding. Similar to another one of my faves, Camomile London (can we just discuss their new scalloped bed canopies? I mean…), they do the prettiest prints, which look so gorgeous mixed up and layered – my absolute favourite style of bedding that’s as cosy as it is beautiful to look at. Then from there I thought it might be nice to do a more ‘general’ edit for kids’ rooms, as opposed to just babies, boys or girls. Tabitha and Marlow’s rooms have really not changed that much since the were tiny – well ok, the furniture a little, but generally the overall feel remains the same. I’m always drawn to the same mix of faded, dusty, ‘off’ colours (plus ), sprig floral prints, ticking stripes, and layers and layers of mismatched quilts, blankets and eiderdowns. Classic furniture mixed with a few more modern ‘mid-century’ pieces; simple artwork/prints/posters, then charming/cosy finishing touches/details and accents, such as garlands/bunting, baskets, wooden hooks, textured rugs, fairy lights…
Anyway, I hope you like my little forage!
