Great Elemis Products
As some of you may already know, I have been using ELEMIS products for a few years now, and I really do rate them. I have quite sensitive, but dry skin, so I have to be quite careful about what I put on it. Today I want to share a few specific products that I have been using/trialing…
Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm
I have long been a fan of cleansing balms (I have not used any other type of cleanser since converting). I actually really love the actual process of applying it and (time allowing) massaging it into my skin. The Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm is just so lovely to use (and don’t get me started on that scent…). It nourishes as a balm, easily removes all traces of makeup as a cleansing oil, and hydrates as a cleansing milk (hence that lack of tightness afterwards, which I used to experience with other cleansers). I use the ELEMIS cloth and hot water to remove the balm. It always feels a little bit like a mini facial. There are cheaper versions out there, but for me, this is the one.
There is also the origianlc, the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. Same product, just minus the rose scent.
Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30
The ultimate Pro-Collagen cream that improves hydration and firmness whilst protecting the skin from sun exposure. This is a great weight for my skin for everyday – the perfect ‘foundation’ for makeup. I love the velvety texture too.
Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream
As I said I have dry skin, so at night I like something a little more heavy duty on my skin, to work its ‘magic’ whilst I sleep. This rich, nourishing night cream promises ‘a firmer-looking, radiant complexion whilst delivering intense moisture’. So far I’m loving the results, but will give you an update once I’ve been using it regularly for a longer period of time.
Superfood Facial Oil
Now I love a facial oil, so I was really keen to try this award-winning Superfood (yes, it actually contains superfoods – broccoli, rosehip, flaxseed and Daikon radish, amongst others) one. Light, non-greasy (this is a non-negotiable for me) and easily absorbed, this nourishing facial oil definitely leaves my skin looking and feel more radiant and glowing. It’s intended for the day, but sometimes I use it at night for an extra boost.
