Atlanta Trevone, Trevone Bay
Atlantic Terrace is a clifftop Victorian terrace built in 1899 – one of the oldest properties in Trevone Bay. The village has two beaches – a sandy beach (Porthmissen Bay), and a rocky beach (Newtrain), which boasts its own natural swimming pool (make sure you pack your swimming costumes – a dip is a must) and is great for crabbing in the rock pools or collecting shells at low tide.
The nearest beach was just a five minute walk, and the clifftop path was literally directly opposite the property. So perfect for explorations on any scale, for all ages.
Atlanta is ideally located just two miles outside of Cornwall’s foodie capital, Padstow. The historic fishing port is filled with quality shops and restaurants, and of course, the world-renowned Rick Stein establishments.
Atltanta Trevone is made up of six luxury self-catering boltholes, of varying sizes. We stayed in Atlanta View, which was perfect for a family of four (but can sleep five). It was spacious, but also cosy (always tricky to pull off) and characterful. For me, it was like a home-from-home, minus all the unwanted clutter!), with the most stunning, uninterrupted sea views.

Jess, the owner shared a really comprehensive list of recommendations ahead of our trip (so helpful with planning), and many of them are also in the ‘Atlanta Times’ (so cute) which is in each of the properties. We were only there for two nights, so didn’t get to try many places, but we loved Beach Box (literally on the beach) in Harlyn Bay (a 20 x minute walk along the cliffs) for brunch and hot chocolate pit stops), and Caffé Rojano in Padstow was perfect for families (and dogs!) – fun, relaxed atmosphere, super-friendly service and great food.
We’re planning to come back (we fell hard for this little slice of Cornish heaven), so will be ticking off some of the others on the list then (we’d already been to Rick Stein’s Fish & Chips on a previous trip to Padstow).

Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant
The Pig At Harlyn Bay
We have it on good authority that they do the best Sunday roast in the area.
